Redzone Raises $18,000 for Children of Fallen Special Operations Personnel

There have been more than 1,200 Special Operation personnel – including Navy SEALs, Army Green Berets, Air Force Special Tactics Force and Marine MARSOC Operators – who have given up their lives fighting for the United States since 1980. Those men and women often had families of their own, with children who are now growing up without a parent. At Redzone, we want to ensure those children are not forgotten and are given the opportunity to thrive, just like how we champion for the overlooked members of factory teams working on the front lines.

That’s why we paired up with the Special Operations Warrior Foundation to help fund the college education for nearly 1,000 children (and spouses) of fallen Special Operations Warriors and children of Medal of Honor Recipients.

On April 12, Redzone hosted veterans at The Hills Course at Stonebridge Ranch Country Club in McKinney, TX to raise money for the Foundation with the goal of bringing positive change to the lives of Veterans, Service Members, and their families – by helping to ultimately send their children to college.

We raised $18,000 and continue Redzone’s commitment to fostering a work environment that supports Veterans. Currently, Redzone has 13 veterans including Marine Corps Veteran and Vice President of Enterprise Sales and Head of EMEA at Redzone, Lance Olmsted.

Reflecting on the day, Lance said,

The turnout of this inaugural event was truly something special. It’s an honor to help the children and families of the men and women who protect us every day, and the entire Redzone team is proud to preserve their legacy and support this cause.”

From the team at Redzone, we thank our Veterans for risking their lives to protect our country. It is a great privilege to be a small part in helping to empower and educate the children of these service members, who carry on the legacy of their parents every day.
